Nyampuju - Here/ this Yalumpuju – There/that Yaliji – Over there (in the distance) * ji/ju on these words can be omitted. They’re used for emphasis or balance when needed. Warlpiri word order is not as fixed as English. Also, there is no need for ‘is’ in basic sentences. Nyampuju wati – This is a man/Here is a man.
